H.I.P cream liner?

are they good? and what color would be best for my green eyes??H.I.P cream liner?
i have it in black. i'm still getting used to applying a cream liner because i was always using liquid or pencil but it goes on pretty smooth. you should definitely get some in diff colors to see what would be perfect for your eyes but you can never fail with black!H.I.P cream liner?
They are really good, you should try the black, blue and kind of teal color.

What are your favourite cream and/or liquid liners?

I have a black cream liner by Stila, but to be honest, it's crap.

It started drying out after the first month of use, even with proper closing.

So I would like to see what others are using!

I am looking for, of course, my basic black liner.

But I also like colour, either funky or neutral.

How long have you had it or how long one of these lasts for you?

Any cons?

What are the pros?

I don't want to spend over 25 dollars though.

i guess the Stila one just goes to show that expensive products don't always work well.

i use one from L'orreal, it works very well. it's not too liquidy that it isn't transparent, it's very dark. it's also pretty cheap, like 6 dollars.

Well, the fluidline by MAC is brilliant, but I personally use CoverGirl. I use the LineExact. It's truly amazing. you can go really think, or really thin, you can use it anywhere, and it doesn't smudge and smear. It has a felt tip, like a marker, and it's really easy to use, and really inexpensive. I love it dearly.
1. FLUIDLINE by MAC has all the colours that you are looking for, it`a cream eyeliner.

2. SHISEDO the liquid liner is the best.
Revlon colorstay liquid eyeliner.

If I use it every day, it lasts me about 6 months.

I love it because it lasts all day.
I really like MAC fluidline, just make sure you close the lid tightly! do this with all your products!

Okay I just bought a gel eyeliner from target. It's by Pixi. It's one of those kinda new designer brands. It's pricey (20 dollars) but it is seriously the most waterproof eyeliner I've EVER used. It stays perfect ALL DAY. I used to use Maybelline Unstoppable. It claims to be water and smudge proof. It's okay... it stays pretty well but the one by Pixi is 5 billion times better haha. And a little goes a very long way!

Loreal H.I.P. makes a gel liner too. For 10 dollars I think? But I've never used it so I can't say if it works as well, but if the one by Pixi is too expensive, you might wanna try the Loreal one.Liquid, cream, gel, or powder liners?

Pencil can Smug but that could be good for many reasons

Liquid liner is a tick task but it comes in waterproof formula's
definetly liquid it stays on for a pretty long time, my second option would be cream liner pretty much the same concept; lasts long.

i have it and it works the same as fluidline, thhe only thing is fluid line has better colors other than black, HIPs arn't verry good other than black. plus Mac is more for your money, like with HIPS pigments as well, you mine as well pay the $20 because your paying $11 for a little jar and you could get tons more for like $9 more. but if you dont use cream liner that much go for HIP.

Are the Loreal HIP cream liners good?

They are very good, I have them in every colour. The eggplant although I was hoping for great things does not seem to apply as well as the other shades, it also does not look purple on the eyes. The teal is crazy! LOL it's SO BRIGHT, I love it. I don't wear it alone I wear it just on the outside edge of my eye above my black liner when I am going to a club or something. The brown is wonderful for everyday and really lasts, and the blue is also nice. But pick up the teal, black and brown for sure. I have tried many eyeliners (been wearing eyeliner for 15 years) and this is one of my all time favs, it's my fav cream eyeliner for sure, beats out MAC, Clinique, Bobbi Brown and Smashbox.

The brush that it comes with is pretty worthless, pick up a thinner, softer brush.Are the Loreal HIP cream liners good?

Yep. I really like using the HIP black eyeshadow as a powder liner too. I use an angle brush with that. Its great.
i have tried them and i think they are pretty good. they dont smudge even though they are creamy at first. you should try it.

I am not a fan of either the Clinique or the MAC cream eyeliner. The Clinique one has horrible packaging, it dries out really quickly...and the MAC one does not blend as easily as it should. Out of the ones you listed...the Bobbi Brown and Shiseido are the best, and Smashbox is not too bad. My favorites, and the ones I use most regularly on clients are Smudge Pots by Stila, and cream liner by Makeup for Ever ( both at Sephora ). I LOVE Smudge Pots, as it is the most versatile...with a little blending you can create so many looks. The consistency is amazing. Get your own liner brush, invest in a good one, as any product you choose will only look as good as the application you give it. Good Luck!!Which cream eye liner should I use?

Well the only place I could think of would be Ebay since the Loreal UK site doesnt offer the HIP line. You should check the department store websites that are around your area and maybe they will ship them to you. I don't know about the UK but here in the US, Walgreens and CVS have websites that you can order from.

I LOVE this eyeliner. I have it in blue and it does work very well. You have to get used to applying it though. But it has never smeared for me and it lasts from the time I put it on in the morning until I take it off at night. I highly recommend it.Loreal HIP cream liner?
i have this in eggplant and it works beauitfully, i def recommend this. it doesnt smudge or run, only problem is that the application is really difficult, u might need some practice, cuz the lashes definitely get in the way. otherwise this stuff works SO WELL.

The Makeup Forever Aqua Cream Liner isn't horrible, but I did expect more from something so expensive. MAC is way better in my opinion, but I'm actually really happy with Coastal Scent's Gel Liners because they remind me so much of MAC's Fluidlines but they're a lot cheaper. I think about $7. -A lot of them hydrate your skin.

-More compact and easier/safer to carry around in your purse than powder.

Cons of Cream Eyeshadow:

-Creases

-More expensive because they're sold seperately.

-Stick to eyelashes and promote clumps.

Pros of Cream Eyeliner:

-Gives a more dramatic, defined look than regular pencil eyeliner.

-Less of a hassle and less painful.

-Comes in a lot more colors.

i think there fine. and mac is a good brand they got a lot of vibrant colors! :)
i love cream makeup when i put it on because it blends so nicely, but i hate it at the end of the day because it gives me creases all over my eyes. if you decide to go for it, put a little translucent powder on your eyelids to prevent creases.

You have to use an eyeliner brush.

If you are using a stiff flat headed one, you walk it across your upper eyelid.

The one that looks like a lipstick brush almost you use it like a paint brush.

Personally, I like the flat headed one. Smashbox believe it or not makes a really small version that fits in the cream liner compact that I really love. It's tiny but it works great.
oh u need an angular thin brush u dab the tip in the eye liner apply a thin line as close to your lash line as possible for the most natural look the way u would apply pencil or liquid eyeliner i use cream eyeliner all the time and i think its great it usually can be purchased with the brush i have a cream eyeliner from h.i.p it came with the brush to apply it hope that helped

I used to love liquid when going dramatic but this is so much easier to work with as well as more precise. It also doubles as a shadow or a base for shadow. Cream eyeliner is really good. The only thing to a really good cream eyeliner effect is if you use it properly, know what you're doing and have a good brand of it. Try to go on the internet and search some good videos that can teach you how to use them if you are going to give them a good try. Before you wear it out to dinner or something, try it a few times at home so that you master how to use it, if you want, blend it etc. It really takes practice! Also experiment around and see what 'types' suit you. It really is about how it looks on YOU so i can't really tell you how to apply etc. About it smudging, being easy to use, quality, etc. it really depends on the brand. The more expensive, well, most likely, the better. The cheaper, the less effective it will be. It depends on how much your willing to spend on the product and how far you will go.

Okay I was looking on MAC pro the other day and now I doubt I can order from it because I think you have to work for MAC ...then i looked on the MAC website and they don't have it .....now I really want to try it though i've used fluidline its a little to liquid-y for my likings ..i usually use smashbox cream liner because its thicker and i prefer that and well i thought the MAC cream liner looked similar ....does any one know if MAC will be selling this to customers or any info on it ? I've used it and I LOVE it! Much better texture than fluidline. Unfortunately, this is going to remain a Pro product. If you don't have a MAC store that carries Pro stuff around you, you can call the one nearest to you and they can ship it. Depends on your skin tone, hun. If your skin tone is darker, it CAN be used for mildly highlight a darker liner, or if your skin is paler, for that natural look...

because i want to buy and i don't want to waste my money on something that doesn't last .

I have been trying alot of benefit products and to me benefit is just being over expensive, quality is not that good, and the makeup comes in small bottles

So if I were you I wouldnt take the chance.

Thats why I started buying my makeup from Clinique.

But Clinique has the more natural look so Im gonna suggest Urban Decay for you.

you can use it ';wet or dry'; which means, you wet your eyeliner brush to get a more precise look, and you use a dry brush to get a smokier look.

I use Bobbi Brown's Gel Liner. I like it. It's easier for me to use than pencil. I've heard a lot of great things about HIP Creme Liners too. Instead of cashing out too much for BB's gel liner, the next time, I'm going to get a HIP liner and see what's better.
Hi. I use pencil eyeliner from MAC and I also use a little black eyeshadow over the liner when I'm done. It makes it look much more dramatic

I use pencil and use a small sponge to smudge it so i create a smokey eye affect :) thats hot

HIP cream liner is a less expensive product, stays on for a long time and gives an amazing colour.

However, MAC fluidline stays on for longer when used correctly, and when it is taken off you must use an oil-based make-up remover otherwise you will be there for ages!

this is true... fluid line is just ok for what your paying for..

GET H.I.P. cleam liner it's pretty good but the color intensity isnt as good. and bobbi browns gel liner is good.
I have the loreal HiP liner in black and I love it, it really easy to work with and stays on for a long time and is much cheaper!

I have been using and LOVE the LUXE cream liner by Bee Luscious Cosmetics, its awesome.
I've been using cream eyeliners from Mac and I love them! I'm a veteran of eyeliners, and I remember trying to invent some sort of cream, mixing mascara, liquid and pencil (kind of crazy) but I guess I wasn't that wrong because now they're here!

I don't know the L'oreal's but try them, otherwise try Mac. You will fall in love :)
It has many different uses so it is great.

You can use your finger and evenly spread it over the lid, or you can use a good quality angle brush and use it as an eyeliner.

bacteria is causing irritation. Avoid any makeup on the water line; I'm assuming you mean inner bottom lid. Anytime you dip liner into your eye and re use, bacteria goes back to the applicator and brush. Pencils aren't re- used that way.

You can, just be sure to blend it well %26amp; don't use a lot.

If you put too much it will eventually just crease...

Even if you do use an eye primer it will just have that ugly crease mark.

Most cream shadows are used as a base on your eyeshadow powders so that it will have something to stick on to. But that doesn't mean you can't use it as it is. Just be sure to apply it evenly %26amp; not too much...avoid putting too much on the part where it tends to crease...

Napoleon Perdis China Doll Liner. Use a slanted brush to apply and it lasts the whole day! Even wore it to the beach and came out of the water smudge free (pending you only have on clear or waterproof mascara.)

I would try the cream eyeliner, only because I've never tried a cream liner before. Plus, I've heard it's a little easier to apply -- liquid liner takes a lot of effort and concentration, even if you have experience.
Hip Cream Eyeliner! Theyre very pigmented and tehy dont crease. For liquid liner, I prefer prestige because it doesnt crease either. =-)

I haven't tried a brush on cream liner, but I do use Clinique's cream shaper for eyes, that comes in a pencil form. It works very well because the tip is soft, the line is easy to draw, and it lasts all day as long as I don't rub my eyes. I'm currently using the black diamond shade, which is black with subtle sparkle. Its the best eyeliner that I've ever used. I'm already on my 2nd pencil, and I won't be switching to a different eyeliner anytime soon.

clinique sucks
its good for sensitivity but, it smears I like the pencils personally but now I had discovered they are using a darker shade of eye shadow for the liner and that is much easier and safe. They sell the compacts with the colors and the liner all in one eyeshadow compact, to me its better to use the powder, your not pulling your eye lids.

No eyeliner really lol. In my experience waterproof eyeliner NEVER comes off. And some kohl liners like styli style are amazing. I remember i used to have them (styli-style) i know they sell them at CVS for about 5 bucks and i swear they stay on all day. It works better than my Estee Lauder one which was like $18+ something like that. It's never wise to put a cream or liquid based eyeliner on your waterline. I recommend cream eyeliner. The brand I like best is the Loreal HIP color truth cream liner, it look great and works better than MAC in my opinion. The mac kinda has to be layered on a little for it to really show, whereas the loreal goes on dark the first time.
Cream liner works best for me. Try the H.I.P Creme Liners by L'Oreal they are super good. It won't smudge and they are really cheap.
I use MAC Powerpoint eyeliner. It's waterproof and I swim/exercise with it on all the time.

they are both great and loreal is bogo at many drugstores right now. check your walgreens or rite aid, that way you can gte more for your money ANDDDD they accept returns if you dont like it. If you dont then try the fluidline. :)

DO NOT BUY THAT GEL LINER unless you are prepared to put a tar-like substance on your eyes...it is a really dry formula and if you make a mistake it is soooooo hard to get of and fix...if you are looking for a gel liner (which is the type of liner i prefer) go to the CoastalScents website (link provided)...also at target there is an angled liner brush that works wonders...its great for gel liners (link provided; the brush isn't on the target website but here is where you can buy it and check it out; it's a reputable place -- i bought mine from here)

Sure, but over time it will tend to dry up. But don't throw it away it can make a really good eyeshadow base.
cream liner is great.. itll def stay on all day i love it, i use smashbox's cream eyeliner and an angled eyeliner brush it stays alll day and doesnt fall which has always been my biggest problem

I would say do green eye shadow, it will really compliment you eyes and it will look beyond great on you skin. as for lip color, try something neutral,because you already have green eyeshadow going, red or hot pink lips might be overkill. for your lips you could use light lip liner (not to dark) and then lipstick over it around the same colour in a light red colour. if u go 4 a really red lip colour then it will look weird compared to your hair. try a smokey eye and remember if your eyes are dark n bold then make sure ur lips aren't bold and out there too or you will look like a prostitute.

try using dark purples for your eyeshadow, and use it as eye liner, smudging it at the outer corners of your eyes. on the top go halfway between the inner corner of your eye and at the bottom go with just about half that distance.
A day at work- gray eyeliner with light brown and light pink with lots of gloss and mascara

Party- black eyeliner with medium orange and light orange on top of that and classic red lip with a plumper for the lips

For your hair I would suggest creating texturized waves. John Freida has a great texturizing wax spray that is great at creating subtle waves.

Either peach shimmer or pale pink shimmer gloss. You can find it at Rite Aid, Walgreen's or even the dollar store. With your tone, it will really look nice.

You can use most of those shiny sandy colored glosses. Those look really nice. If it's more transparent it's better for you because of your age. And it's more natural! There is a transparent gloss by Loreal that's good and there are a few more neutral shades they have too.. Go see them at the store and put them next to your face and look in a mirror,,, you'll automatically know which one is best for you.
I have similar features use a clear lip gloss or a real pale pink. I like the Lip Shine from Sally Hansen. It is great and stays on really well.

try a lightly tinted purple/lavendar shade lipgloss and pair it with the same eye makeup. it;ll bring out your eyes
whatever you do, dont wear orange, red, plum, or colors that are too pale. clear lipgloss is a good choice, but it looks so plain! try a nude (brownish/tannish) color. pink would also be an excellent gloss to experiment with. i always thought that shimmery lipglosses added the perfect touch to anyones lips.

for your age i would think that you don't want something that would stick out too much but something that will catch someones attention ..... i think that a nice clear gloss would be perfect ... but if you are looking for color just maybe some Burt's bees color, it gives a color hint not to out there and moisturizes at the same time.....good luck!

Try to stick with lighter colors if you have lighter skin. If you wore darker colors, it would make you look lighter. Try light shades of pink.

As little color as possible. I see too many girls and women who paint their lips with some obnoxious bright red or pink, and even worse is this fad to outline the lips in a dark color. Ugh! And another ugh to lipstick that comes off and shows up on coffee cups and drinking glasses.

How about trying the Nivea pearl and shine lip balm. It just puts a very subtle pink shimmer on your lips but is not glossy. Also it lasts for ages and only costs about 拢1.

I have also got one from Clinique which was a good colour .. it was called Nude .. but doesnt last very long on your lips and cost about 拢10 .. wasnt very impressed with it.

i think you should try some eyeshadows in the purple shades, that'll make your eyes pop. you could also go with teal colors.. if you want something more natural try a light creamy color on the lid, then a dark chocolate color in the corner. either a nice neautral lip color or really bold if you're not wearing much eye make up
prob greens and dulcet purples...maybe even bronzes or golds. understated gloss or sheer lipcolor for a natural look

I just don't agree when ppl say that you're too ';young';. Personally, I think it depends on your face type. You say that you look old for your age. That's okay. Nobody is going to say you're too young to wear makeup if you don't look young to begin with. If you had a 9 year old's face, that's a whole different story. Eyeliner is ok. But not too much! If you put too much eyeliner on, it'll be too dark and you'll look like a tramp. A little eyeliner will define your features and yes, make you look a little older. Mascara will add length and volume to our eyelashes. If you have long eyelashes, don't wear cuz you'll look like you have a spider for an eye. Only apply about two coats. Anymore, and you'll have clumps and weird looking eyelashes. Lipgloss is for any age. :) And ur right foundation is stupid. If you have pimples, then go to your doctor and he/she will prescribe medication for you. 12 years old is too young for wearing all that stuff.

A clean, fresh skin with basic make-up is better looking than a lot of make-up.

Anyways, looking young or old is not important. What is important you should look fresh, clean, natural and comfortable and fit.

You don't need make-up. Accept yourself for what you are. Eat a balanced diet with a lot of water. Exercise regularly. And be confident.
I hate to say this but you are still a kid, and a 12-year old should not be using it.. Once you wear makeup, people will become accustomed to seeing you with it, and so will you. You have plenty of time to grow up. Don't rush it.

when u play up with ur eyes make sure u go subtle with ur lips.. use a nude colored or maybe a light mauvish gloss.. dont use a lip liner they are better when used with lipsticks.. u can try bourjois or rimmel glosses.. they have some nice lip glosses in light shades..

Avoid clear, but definitely do a neutral opaque gloss with a hint of mauve and rose. Also, do a neutral liner that is about the same color as your lip color with a little rose tint to it.

I put clear lipgloss on my eyelids and then powder eyeshadow once, but it was because i ran out of cream eyeshadow and just regular powder eyeshadow doesn't last as long as cream unless you have lipgloss under. Or if you put ALOT on.

**I KNOW i don't put foundation on my eyelids, and i also know that foundation and compact powder are NOT used to make eyeshadow stay on for longer. In fact, there are roll-on's designed specifically for that job.
I tried that once and my eyelids were sticking to themselves . LOL ! Like I would look up and my eyelid would get stuck and take like a 1/2 second longer to fall back down . Not doing that again !

Best brands for concealer, foundation, eye pencil/liner, blusher and lip gloss?

Concealer...the gold standard is Cle de Peau Beaute but it's pretty pricey. L'Oreal makes some good ones.

Foundation...Lancome, Clinique and MAC have good ones, as does L'Oreal. The best one for you will depend on your skin type and how much coverage you want.

Eye pencil/liner...there isn't that much difference between brands. I like MAC Powerpoint pencils and Sephora pencils, however any one from the drugstore will probably be OK.

Blush...NARS powder blush %26amp; Tarte Gel Cheek Stain are my favorites. Rimmel makes a decent one also, as does Almay.

Lip gloss...this depends on the texture you like. Some, like MAC Lipglass, are too thick %26amp; sticky for some peoples' taste. The Body Shop and Benefit have good ones that come in a variety of colors but are surprisingly lightweight. Maybelline Great Lash and Lash Expansion. Maybelline generally always has the best mascaras, even makeup artists will tell you that. No clumps at all, but thickens, seperates, and lengthens. Use blackest black, always go over lashes once.. wait a bit.. then give them at least a second coat, and you can try the curved brush (that way you may not need to curl lashes).. just not anything waterproof girl. Estee Lauder also makes a good mascara; I forget the name. Aside from that, generally with makeup you get what you pay for.. Of course M.A.C. is very good as is Clinique, Lancome and other department store brands, but damn they are expensive.... Good luck.

Dark Greys %26amp; BlacksEye shadow Color Help? What's the best lip gloss?
There are a TON of questions like ';does _______ look good on _______?'; but i'll answer anyway.

If you look on the color wheel (which I'm not going to Google that for you), you will notice orange/brown/tan shades correspond with the blues. It's a complementary color. So you can use blue eyeshadow, or shadows with a blue tint/tilt/duochrome to them.
as far as the lip gloss goes try anything from MAC! they have the best glosses out there and they last for along time both on and the product itself goes along way... i also have ivory skin and i wear black mascara, black eyeliner and brownish earth toned shadows...

i suggest go with a nude color lip gloss because you want the eyes to really pop!. . I think you should go with very neutral eyeshadows like browns and bronzes. . you can buy the kind of eyeshadow like maybeline that tell you what shadow in the quad is for which eye, that might help to achieve the look you desire

dont wear any. i am from italy. i have tan skin. i am olive complexion. no lip gloss, chap stick for a creamy lip. no eyeshaadow, eyeliner for a sultry eye.

you're too young to wear makeup. wait untill highschool, then wow all the boys with your ability to put on eyeliner (which they don't even care about).

OMG!I am 12 too.I wear mousse foundation,powder,eye shadow,eye liner,mascara,and a little blush(can't even tell just for a glow)So I think you are fine.Trust a girl who is your age.
Okay, so your twelve im thirteen when i was twelve i would only wear mascara and clear or pink-ish lipgloss try BONNEBELL vito o' 2 gloss its great! or smackers cookie dough ice creames they're fabulous
well i'm 13 and i ONLY use mascara , lip balm and eyeliner.. i dont think its that much 4 a 12 yr old @_@ but i didnt wear make up really and i dont really wear much now! lol

but if u have good skin (most likely) DO NOT use things like foundation etc.. but i reckon jst a lil bit of lip gloss and mascara would do the works :D lol

start with cover girl and wear a lite pink or of white eyshadow nothin to dark to start with maybe a little lip gloss and that should do it good luke and for some more tips ask your friends, or your mom for a little help

well all you have to remember is makeup is to enhance your features not cover up your whole face and that a little bit goes a long way im sure if you go to cosmo girl.com or seventeen.com they will have lots of tips on that.
i think that mascara and eye shadow is too much at 12.all you need is either a little lip gloss or tinted chapstick.
Personally I don't think you should be wearing MAKE UP anyway but you will know when you are using to much like when you look like a clown or something.

hey im 12 too too little is if ur not wearing any but dont put eyeshadow right underneath the brow put it on the lid mascara and eyeliner, concler and some gloss add SOME gloss on the check bone if u want color and ur all set

Why the hell are you wearing mascara at age 12? Little girl, here's a piece of advice that a lot of people are going to give you: work on life (as in school, and judging from your question, you need to work on that hard) before working on being popular or else you're going to be flipping burgers for the rest of it.
I wear about a thin line of black eyeliner under the bottem only. i also only wear about a small amount of mascara on my eyes so it doesnt look clumped. any color eyeshodow would do, just make sure it matches what ur wearing and only put it on the lid of the eyelid. i recommend blue eyeshadow, though. some blush would also look nice, just dont put on 2 much, or u'll look like a clown. it does'nt matter what brand of lip gloss or anything u use, i usually use non-sparkled lip gloss. 2 me, it make my lips WAY 2 un-natural and shiny. if u like it though, put on a small amount. the trick 2 great make-up? a small amount. it would make u look naturally beautiful. witch i dont think that would be a huge problem 2 u. good luck! i am also 12 and wear this stuff =D
Just find a bronzer that you like. It can be used for a blusher and eyeshadow. The best tip is just to go natural as possible and let your true beauty shine through. My daugther has freckles and she trowels creme foundation and powder and a bunch of crap on her face to hide them. They are a beautiful part of her and she is ruining her skin to cover them up. Use a little mascara and a pretty lip gloss. Have fun and experiment. That is the best way to learn. Good Luck.

If your skin is darker choose a shadow with a shimmer so that it will show up better
maybe a light champagne/taupe [light tan] semi metallic eyeshadow?

You could also put some black or brown mascara on.
ummmm if i were you...i would leave out the eyeshadow...

just leave it with black mascara and maybe a little bit of black eyeliner...

try to avoid some shades of pink eyeshadow as they might make your eyes look swollen or puffy =]

Almost any color eyeshadow goes well with pink lipgloss, try looking for something that brings out your green eyes: (I have green eyes too and I get tons of compliment whenever I wear these colors):

Chocolate

Medium Lilac (just a lilac color with some more pigment)

These colors pair well with raisin, black, and brown eyeliners, and always use black mascara!
