Eye liner, mascara, and lip gloss. is that too much for a seventh grader?

i am the girl not the mom or dad.Eye liner, mascara, and lip gloss. is that too much for a seventh grader?
not too much eyeliner

and not too much lip gloss, some girls put it on three times a day and that's too much especially if those three times are all at skool

mascara is fine

make sure ur parents approve.Eye liner, mascara, and lip gloss. is that too much for a seventh grader?
i think that's fine

just go easy on the eye liner

and make sure your lashes don't clump together

if they do, use a lash comb or old toothbrush to seperate them
I think that's fine. That's all I use, although I am 2 years older. Just go easy on the eyeliner. It can sometimes come out too dark.
light eyeliner en lip gloss good for the seventh grade...:)
Just do it very light.....
yes, not at all necessary now, of course yur mom can use
it depends on whether you like it, other people may or may not think that it is too much, but if you keep it natural, say just a little bit of mascara to open your eyes and a neutral lipgloss to give your lips a nice shine without being too heavy would look fine i think
That's perfect for a seventh grader. Add powder if you want, oh, and don't forget lip balm. I live by lip balm. I wear lip balm and gloss, powder, blush, mascara, eyeliner, and I just started eighth grade. It's all about how much of the makeup you apply, not how much makeup you buy. Good luck!
Yes its too much.
As a mom of a 6th grader I say as long as you keep it light go for it ! I like that you are not putting pounds of foundation and other stuff on . Just keep it light and natural and it will look perfect !
I would go with eye shadow instead of eye liner. use dark brown eye shadow and use it like eye liner. (it will get more solid if you make the brush a little wet before.)

I also wouldn't use mascara. if you do it in the morning for school, it means it will be on all day, which means you will constantly have to check the mirror to make sure it;s not clumped, or all over your face, or sitting in the inside corner of your eyes. That's the worst!

.
not at all, just go light on the eyeliner though. people might start calling you emo if you use it too much, but other than that, go right ahead, as long as your parents approve of it.
don't do a lot of eyeliner!! and of course lip gloss! every girl needs lip gloss
No its perfect as long as you put on the right amount.

Need the name of a good mascara that helps your eye lashes grow and get thicker along with a good lip gloss?

plum color lip gloss that doesnt dry out your lips and black mascaraNeed the name of a good mascara that helps your eye lashes grow and get thicker along with a good lip gloss?
I do not think there's any kind of mascara that will make your lashes grow or become thicker but there are kinds to make them APPEAR longer %26amp; thicker. A great mascara is called KissME %26amp; it is worshipped by millions of women including some celebs %26amp; even little ole me. it can be found at :http://blincinc.com/us/kiss_me_mascara.p鈥?/a>

It is pricey but well worth it. If you want something a bit cheaper, there is just something about Maybelline Great Lash that I have always loved. It has always been my ';go to'; mascara. Also, you should curl your lashes before applying mascara. This can help achieve the look you want. I find that if you warm up the curler under the blowdryer for about 30 seconds, it helps hold the curl much in the way a curling iron does on your hair.

As far as lipgloss, Rimmel %26amp; Elf Cosmetics both make tons of great plum shaded lip gloss. I have never had any problem with them drying out my lips %26amp; the best part is they are cheap.Need the name of a good mascara that helps your eye lashes grow and get thicker along with a good lip gloss?
I love the mascara made by Prescriptives. They have one called false eyelashes or one to make them longer and they both work really well. And YES they are very conditioning and you can tell a difference in just a few days. Its around $20.00 for the mascara but it lasts a long time and doesn't dry out. The same company makes a great lip gloss too. You can get it on QVC.com its a home shopping network. Also some department stores.
I really like MAC's Zoom lash.

No mascara actually makes your lashes grow and thicken. It's makeup; an illusion.
L'Oreal Telescopic
Maybelline new york define-a-lash! $6 It's amazing i get long clump free lashes i've compared it to the like of clinque and i have to admit define-a-lash has won by a mile off!

Ok also i recomened your average pot of vaselen $1! Put a small amount on your eyelashes at night it helps them stay in good condition and help them grow! Lip gloss hmm i suggest boujouis menthul on it's amazing!

Why do women wear foundation eye liner mascara eye shadow eye liner blush lip liner lip stick lip gloss?

if i do wear makeup and that is rare...i wear a mineral poweder foundation..a little concealer to cover and blemishes and under eye circles... eye shadow OR liner..never both...mascara..usually black. and lip gloss..or lip stick.. but never both! and never liner..my lips are full but slightly uneven so liner always ends up making them look odd.

but most of the time..im bare faced with chap stick...i gots to keep my lips smooth...they get dry too easy. Why do women wear foundation eye liner mascara eye shadow eye liner blush lip liner lip stick lip gloss?
Obviously, it is to look good but has anyone ever considered that many women will put on the above makeup, padded bras and other flattering formation garments, etc., then complain that they can't find any ';real men';?Why do women wear foundation eye liner mascara eye shadow eye liner blush lip liner lip stick lip gloss?
To be the Clowns for Men?

And they wonder Men take them less seriously.
because they look gorgeous when they do. Are you mad or something?
    To enhance their looks.
    ...because we can...
I'm guessing it's habit, societal pressure or they feel like they look good, or their workplace expects it.

I've never worn foundation, mascara, eye liner, lip liner or lip stick. Mascara made me break out in hives the only time I tried it. I use to try to wear eye shadow and lip gloss, but was always rubbing them off so stopped. I wore blush for a while when I worked in corporate america so i was wearing ';make-up'; but after a while, I just didn't care anymore.
Because they like to look pretty around us men!

    Why do you shave?

On put oil on hair and face?
Make up can be fun if you're into it! It can be something fun and creative. Granted, I certainly don't wear lipstick, lip liner, and lip gloss all at the same time. That would be way too much blending for me. Ha.
To make themselves more attractive to the opposite sex, obviously. And some do it to make other women jealous of their natural and in some cases, enhanced, beauty. The answer is obvious.
I don't know because I don't wear any makeup, never have in 42 years. My boyfriends have always commented to me that they like it because it doesn't feel like they are kissing a ';mask';, and they don't have to worry about smearing the lipstick. I just never got into wearing it, I tried a few times both when I was a teenager and an adult, but could never get the hang of it, it always looked fake on me, so I just dropped it. My mother only wears lipstick, and looks fantastic at 78.
    I don't. Guess you're wrong.
    'Cause I look GOOD!
It is a form of narcissism. Goes back to prehistory when men would paint themselves with woad or make wounds on their own bodies - the intention being to make themselves appear more attractive to women, more fearsome to their enemies. Eventually women were allowed to paint themselves too.

Of course nowadays it's all about multinationals making big bucks by exploiting women's vanity.
Make up makes a woman pretty not too much but its fine....
For the same reasons Cleopatra did - to improve their looks.

Sometimes through subtle advertising which convinces us that we are not well-groomed if we do not apply some make-up; and

Sometimes to attract the opposite sex.

Other times, it's just nice to play around and enjoy making up your face to create a new look for your own pleasure.
heck knows and im a woman ocsionly i wera mascara when goin out for meal and ocasionly lippy for my partner to notice me waste of time thou mite as well go starkers then hed only notice if sunone said sumthin.what is foundation all about anyway makes em a funny colour, eyeliners looks like you ave bk eyes apanda aah, blusher amkes you look like a garden gnome, lipgloss to amke ya lips shiny and kissable.het i say save ya money dont buy make up spendit on alchol for u and the bloke then hell take youb home anyway.inthe clubs everyone look good in the badlite.
Well, I wear eye shadow, blusher, mascara %26amp; lipstick, and I like wearing make up.

I think I have worn make up for so long now that it has just become habit (plus, the older you get , the more you need it!! :))
    cos we can, dearie
why, so they can misrepresent their appearance to a gullible male public.

What color eye shadow and lip gloss should i wear i have pale skin blue/green eyes and blonde hair?

I would try a cool brown. Blue and green eyes just seem to pop when they have brown shadow above them.

What eye shadow and lip gloss?

i have dark brown hair and brown eyes.

what colour should i wear on my lips and eyes?

please help. What eye shadow and lip gloss?
victoria's secret has the best lip gloss i think 2 for 10 bucks i think you should get a pretty pink color

and for the eye shadow VS also has a really nice lightly glittered brown shade i think the color is called ';between the sheets'; (i know it sounds like a weired name but its great.!

hope i helped youWhat eye shadow and lip gloss?
well u can wear blackish\brown eye shadow with black eye liner and that looks good with pink lip gloss

it kinda jus maters on what color ur wearing

dark hair also looks good with pink and brown eye shadow 2gether
    For Every day:

Goldmine eyeshadow from MAC and Oh Baby or Beaux Lip Glass ( also from MAC).

    For Night (Club):

smokey eyes and a red berry lip gloss. ( you can pull it off)
I have the same tones and I love sheer pinks and nudes on my lips.

On my eyes I love soft golds and pinks, and i do brown mascara..
Eyes a soft purple and clear gloss for lips.
You should definitely use gold. Gold and brown look so good. Use shimmery blush--for the gold effect. Use the blush very lightly. Or you can use green, Covergirl has Glamourous, or Gorgeous green makeup. Use green eyeliner to line eyes--not too dark. Eye shadow helps alot, try a sparkly green on eyes. Pink lip gloss would look good with the gold, red or clear lip stick/ gloss.
taupe or midnight grey in eyecrease, cream glitter below brow and lip gloss in medium pink. Dark brown/black fine eyeliner and mascara.
i think that for you i would use a light blue or green. for the lips i would use a light pinkish red!
clear lip gloss wins anytime it goes with anything and

for eye shadow id say light colours like green blue silver or even gold to give your eyes a bit of sparkle!!!!!!!!!
a light gloss and mybe a gold to bring out the brown in your eyes ok.
From what I have heard, maybe a dark green. I have heard that black is too harsh.
Match your colour up with what you are wearing, if its a blue top then add blue eyeshadow and a glossy pink lippy.
lavenders, golds, pinks, and greens are what looks good on you.
go to Pout...they're fab and will find you great colours etc.i haven't managed to leave their counter without buying new eyeshadow and lipgloss yet.it's yummy
My cousin says you should use light brown powdered eye shadow on the eyes and and a darker brown lip gloss. (she is a make-up artist)
it also depends on your skin tone - i hae olive skin and anything other than black looks bad look in your favorite mags and find stars that you favor - and above all wear whatever you wear with confidence and you'll be good.

  • How do i do a subtle pretty smoky eye when i wear light pink lip gloss? i have hazel eyes?

okay i got some eyeshadow at walmart, its four different shades of grey. so i'd get something like that.

first line the lid (as close to the lashes as possible) with the darkest color.

then put the second darkest color on your entire lid, and i like to put a shimmery color over that to make it stand out, then you put a light color under the brow.

then you should try using a more clear gloss with this look.

thats what i do, and it looks fine.

but if you want a smoky eye that you can wear pink gloss with then try going for dark browns.

brown and pink go amazing together.

put a sandy color on your entire lid, line your eyelid with a darker brown, and put some brown eyeliner on, then put a shimmery color, and sweep it underneath the brow.

and there you go, a smoked out eye, that is sure to match your hazel eyes perfectly, and it even goes with the gloss.

just make sure if you want to go with an eye that pops, try a more subtle lip.

and if you want a lip, that pops try a more subtle eye.How do i do a subtle pretty smoky eye when i wear light pink lip gloss? i have hazel eyes?
instead of applying eyeliner, use the color u want in cream or powder eye shadow. Apply it with a very thin brush to where u would put the eyeliner. For a more smoky look, smudge it a bit with a smudger. How do i do a subtle pretty smoky eye when i wear light pink lip gloss? i have hazel eyes?
i think chocolately colors would look better against your hazel than charcoal colors for a smokey eye look on you. line your top and bottom lashlines with brown eyeliner, use a cream taupe eyeshadow on your lids, and smudge a little under your eyes. then use a shimmery toffee colored powder and sweep upward from your eyelid crease to your brow bone.

    good luck!
    Hi! =) Try using neutral colors for a subtle look. Like dark browns, greens, etc. if you want to match it with your pink lipgloss. At least that's what I think. %26gt;蠅%26lt;

    Subsitute eye shadow/gloss?

I'm not allowed to wear any makeup, for for dances I want to wear eye gloss. Is it considered OK to wear Vaseline as eye gloss?Subsitute eye shadow/gloss?
I did before I was allowed to wear make-up.

Just put a thin coat of it on, eyelashes too.

Not very much, and keep a little in your purse to freshen it up.

    good luckSubsitute eye shadow/gloss?
I think it makes a pretty gloss, try mixing it with body shimmer for some sparkle! Good luck :)
its going to get warm on your face and could run ito your eyes if you put too much on....whouldnt bilnd you but would be uncomfortable...id just go with mascara...less noticiable and will make your eyes stand out if you dont usually wear it, and if you think they will notice.....put it on at the dance and wash it off before you leave.........
    don't wear any.

if all of the girls are wearing it.

you will stand out because you aren't

wear lip gloss if you can!
    No....

Get some shimmer powder for your face.

Mix with lotion apply to apples of cheeks - not makeup, its lotion.

Mix with a bit of face cream and smooth onto eyelids - not makeup, its face cream.

Get a tube of gloss, mix with shimmer, and put that on - not makeup, its gloss to moisturize your lips

Maybe get some fragrant oils and dab behind ears, on wrists, behind knees, and in hair.

Natural for your parents, and pretty as makeup.
uhhh id rather not, just leave home without makeup on and apply it when you reach the dance
It won't hurt your eyes, but it won't look the best either. Vaseline is very think and heavy.

If you aren't allowed makeup, then wouldn't your parents notice the Vaseline? I think that they would.
Go ahead, I don't know anybody who has done it before, but you might end up starting a trend
please don't go against your parents' wishes. doing so now will make things so much harder for you later, because you will break their trust.

believe me, following their rules now will lead to no curfew later.

What eye shadow goes well with black mascara, black eyeliner and natural lip gloss that looks subtle punk?

I wear this look quite a lot and I would suggest that if you want to wear black liner and nude lips, try the followowing eyeshadows:

    Grey (light or dark)

    Silver shimmer

    Apricot

    Cream and warm brown combination..

I find these work best鈥specially grey鈥ooks really chic! What eye shadow goes well with black mascara, black eyeliner and natural lip gloss that looks subtle punk?
Depend what you are wearing, what colour eyes you have but safe bet is earthy tones, pale purple, pale greenWhat eye shadow goes well with black mascara, black eyeliner and natural lip gloss that looks subtle punk?
Go for a light colour, like green or pink. BUT dont use pink or purple if you have brown eyes, it'll look ridiculous. If you have blue eyes go for a shade of bright blue but not electric.
pink, emerald green, any bright colours just dont use a lot
    any colour
I wear black eyeliner...clear lipgloss, clear mascara and go for the silvers/greys on a night out and if i want the natural look i go for the beiges and browns to complement my pale skin when not on a night out
Some smoky black/dark grey eye shadow (not too much, just some smudged on the bottom half of your eye lid) would look punky and would make the colour of you eyes stand out - kind of Avril Lavigne-ish
stter clear of blues and pinks, they look bad on everyone!

oh and Bright colours = small eyes

go for earthy tones like browns and deep greens which will make blue eyes bigger.

try going without eye shadow and just putting a dab of foundation on. it will last longer and be creaseproof

    good luck
For when I'm punking on down, I have this fantastic cerise pink cream kind of eye shadow from Shu Uemera. It's great and you can put a small amount on for a lighter look or a real heavy amount depending on what you want to achieve. I've had a look on their website but it isn't great and I can't seem to find the exact one. I bought mine from Liberty, where they have loads of different colours, but you can probabaly get the same kind of thing from Nars or Mac. Even Number 17 (Boots) do some great colours and they're reasonable pricewise if you want to experiment. I have blue eyes and have worn this with black eyeliner (kohl, smudged).
    grey eyeshadow
Pinks and dark greens or warm brown colours
If you wear alot of black and pink, and have blue eyes, I would go with pink shadow, a light pink.

If you are 13 is pink lip stick and gloss, pink eye shadow, black mascara an okay amount of make-up?

I DON'T WANT TO GO OVERBOARD WITH THIS MAKE-UP STUFF!!!If you are 13 is pink lip stick and gloss, pink eye shadow, black mascara an okay amount of make-up?
well first off it isnt a great combo to much pink is ewww try a clear gloss with pink eyeshadow! that would look more naturalIf you are 13 is pink lip stick and gloss, pink eye shadow, black mascara an okay amount of make-up?
I think it is a little too much. You should tone down on the pink a little too. For just a normal day I would suggest some foundation, mascara, and lip gloss. And maybe some bronzer.
That is way too much pink. Think make-up as a natural color enhancer, not a paint for your face.

When applying make-up always keep these things in mind:

    - What look do you want to accomplish?

    - Do you want a natural glow? Or do you want more drama?

    - Do you want to emphasize your eyes more? Or your lips?

Always have a game plan of what you want. It is much like painting. Your face is your canvas, and your paint is your make-up (concealer, powder, foundation, blush, eyeliner, lipliner, lipstick, lip gloss, eye shadow...and many other things). Your paintbrushes are your make-up brushes, which you need to treat just as important as a paintbrush you spent $20 bucks for. Find good quality ones, and keep them clean on a regular basis. If you spend near $50 for a set, you are typically good to go. To test for good brushes, feel how soft the brush is, look for any bristles that may fall out, and see how strudy they are when flicked with the tip of your finger. To keep them clean, just use a clarifying gentle shampoo and warm water, patted dry with a towel, and reshaped with your fingertips and then laid on the side of a sink (with the bristles hanging over the inside of the sink edge - this will help the brush dry well and keep moisture from getting trapped in the bottom of the bristle area and creating not only bacteria to be spread to your face, but to also keep the glue from loosening up that keeps the bristles in place), and let air dry.

Back to the make-up. When you apply your make-up with your brushes, again...keep in mind the effect you want to have. Natural glow? Drama? Funky? Playful? Flirty? Sassy? Keep all this in mind. Now play around a bit with color. Start with your foundation. Create your canvas to be ready to accept the paint you are about to apply...make-up is your paint. But it is not to look like paint on the face. Always keep that in mind.

Next is eyes. If you overempahsize your eyes, underemphasize your lips. Heavy pinks and lots of liner and mascara on the eyes will have to be balanced out with a light lip color. Try a nude shade with a nude liner, and a clear gloss. If you underemphazise your eyes, you will have to balance your face out with emphasized lips. When you use less eyeshadow and liner to the eyes, spike up the color a bit on the lips. If you like pink, opt for a mauve or a sheer pink, liner and a good coat of gloss (nude or clear).

For an overall natural glow, use ligher pinks...or when more potent color is used with pink...keep it simple. Use a lighter eyeliner (brown or a light charcoal), and use more beige and nude shades on the eyes with the pink to balance it out better. Also with the cheeks, always use a shade (no matter what look you are after) that blends with your skin shade...not looks painted on. If you are pale, you are a cool skin tone...opt for a pink, but not overly pink. If you are olive or tanned, you are a warm skin tone...opt for a more peach based blush. If you want, also look for neutral shades...which compliment both cool or warm skin tones.

Just keep this in mind...when using pink...always balance. When using make-up period, balance. Use colors and shades to blend with eachother to find your style. Play with color, do not be afraid of it. A lot of people stick with pink because most people have pink in thier skin tone...but most of the pinks out there today are highly potent in pigment. Too much applied makes one look clown-like...espeically when just matched with black mascara and liner. Blend...again...think of your face as a canvas. It can be created however you desire it to be...get a picture in your mind, and play to find what looks best on you and reflects you inner beauty. Another key point before I close...make-up is to bring out...to reveal your inner beauty. Not mask who you are or make you someone else.
yea. its and ok amount, to much makeup at a young age looks horrid. it can even cause damage to your skin at a later age.(thats if you dont take care of your skin that is) remember always remove makeup before bed.
Lipstick/ gloss and eyeshadow may be good.

You are still a little young for mascara. It is better to not have enough makeup than to have too much!
Yes. First off, pink eyeshadow looks really, really bad. Go with more natural colors and you won't look like a douchebag. Pink lipstick is also not a good color...Either go red or go something natural. Honestly, a girl looks better without makeup at all. I never, ever wear it, and my boyfriend, whom I live with, swears up and down that not only do men prefer the natural look, but they hate kissing a girl with makeup because it's gunky and gets on them. Your face is beautiful as it is, girl--take it from me!
naw, thats okay. thats usually what I wear. just leave it on the dl. (down low)
Your statement that you don't want to go overboard says it all. Black mascara is generally reserved for evening occasions, or if you have dark brown/black hair. Choose a mascara in a hue that is slightly darker than your natural hair color. If you are a stark blonde or a true redhead, select a light to medium brown. Generally, if you are wearing a tinted gloss, you won't need to wear a lipstick under it because the colors (even if they blend) will be overpowering.
I'm 16, and i dont wear that much make-up. My tip is for normal days, either do your eyes OR your mouth. Secondly, too much pink will look horrible. I reccomend:-

    1) Clear gloss on your lips

    2) Pale pink shadow

    3) Brown/Black Mascara

Or, if you would like to do your lips more than your eyes,:-

    1) Sparkly pink lipstick

    2) Clear gloss

    3) No eyeshadow, just mascara.

Or for a party or wedding etc, try:-

    1) Clear lipgloss or slightly pink gloss

    2) Pale pink eyeshadow

    3) A little mascara

    4) (optional) A little bit of eyeliner
I think that pink eye shadow looks bad on anyone, and lip stick is a little to old. So I would suggest some eye liner, mascara and lip gloss. All the guys I know don't like to much make up....a littles fine but don't do to much. the last thing you want to do is look sluty!
I would say gloss only, pale shadow and clear or brown mascara.

It sounds like you want to stay natural and pretty. Too much pink can end up looking clownish.

Lip stains and eye creams may be better for your skin anyways. It is a drag to have to do your makeup. Try to stay very natural. The stains won't rub off or smear and the natural mascara won't look harsh.
My mom let me wear lip gloss (not lipstick) becuase it just makes your lips shiny and a little pink...i also get away with VERY little LIGHT eye shadow right above my lashes - not out to the sides or up to the eyebrows. I would wear mascara but I've never bought any. I usually try to make my hair look great, since my mom won't let me use too much makeup. But, like you, I don't feel right wearing tons of it either!!! You're on the right track!!
It really depends on what the girls around you are wearing. Do you think that you stand out because of the amount of makeup you wear? Just as long as you apply it skillfully, I don't think it will be a big deal.
    Make up looks horrid period.

    Just look natural.

GUYS! what is the worst makeup for a girl to wear? (ex. eye line, lip gloss, eye Shadow, etc)?

i just wanna knowGUYS! what is the worst makeup for a girl to wear? (ex. eye line, lip gloss, eye Shadow, etc)?

Bandages all over the face, neck arms, and bustline...!!!!! LOL

Seriously though, I appreciate a woman who knows ';how to glow'; and make her man proud to have her by his side AND to watch the other guys drool...........Too much makeup is a major turnoff................
I asked my brother and he says

    ';Ew. When girls wear that stuff that makes their eyes different colors (in makeup speak eyeshadow) and it is dark and stuff. That's gross. Oh! And also when they have orange skin';

Hahahaha, the quote is verbatim how he said it!
its annoying when girls wear cheap make up . or when they only use black liner on the bottom and nothing else...eurgh.
im not a guy but , very very red lipstick and i hate '; too much of eyeshadow'; =)
i dont know what its called but it makes your skin turn white i dont know why girls like wearing that stuff

  • Whats the best colour eye shadow, and lip gloss should i use?

i have a bright face but its also taned at the same time i have a max of 15 freckles. and my hair is useally staight black with blonde under neath so what coulour would be good?Whats the best colour eye shadow, and lip gloss should i use?
smokey grey colors for eye shadow

and sheer lip gloss use C%26amp;O Bigelow from bath and body works....i love itWhats the best colour eye shadow, and lip gloss should i use?
Really need to know your eye color to complete the picture. Blonde goes with cold colors, black with warm. Your freckles and tan suggest warm. If your eye color is blue or green, that's cold; if your eyes are brown, warm. If you have an equal balance of cool and warm traits, select neutral colors.

    Warm lipstick colors--reds, corals, mauves.

    Cold colors--purples and pinks.

Warm shadow colors: browns and beiges

    Cold colors: blue, green, black
From the description you gave it seems like you have an olive skin tone? I'm no expert, but I think you should use choose from either gold, earthy colors or dark blues for eyeshadows. For lip glosses your should use light peachy type colors or something that is almost neutral, but still gives your lips some shine
i would say purple eye shadow as well with light pink lip gloss
    Pink/Purple.
    Nudes would look great.
    I prepare pink.
Get your colors done at a local makeup counter. It's free, without any obligation to buy, and you'll get to try what's best for you, as well as give input if they use something you'd rather not.
omg, you look nothing like your avatar more like a badgar, or skunk so i would say green
Pink eye shadow, and lip gloss :)
wait, straight black and then blonde?

honey, NOTHING will look good with that.
Depends what color your eyes are...
apply a foundation which is one step lighter than ur complexion all over and under ur eyes, then apply a dark black kohl inside ur eyes n then take a light brounish - lavender shimmer lip gloss apply it over ur eye lids, remember only ur eye lids not over that with ur finger let the kohl spread over ur eyelids and thicken the line under ur eyes with a black eye liner.

apply same lip gloss upon ur lips
go purple 4 the eye shadow (but not to dark)

    and use sheer lip gloss

    that always works

    t
yea purple eye shadow, and a shiny pink pump lipgloss :D Love nadine
Hmmm I'd try pink or gold color eye shadow (maybe even combine ;D ), and maybe a shade of lipgloss that is between peach and red.

    Hope this helps. :]
I'd go with a shimmery shadow that's just a tad darker than your skin color, and some mascara. For lips i'd use a clear gloss. I love makeup as much as the next person, but the natural look is really in this year! :)
Go with purple eye shadow and black lipstick.
I'd go 4 light blue. It will go with your face color
    Body Shop
    all black.
Baby Blue ishadow and Pink or rosey Lip stick

umm since you have a bright face maybe try somkey eye!

here is how to do it!:

    http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=I0NkeFxTX8…

    try Lipglass by Mac!
violet or baby blue eyeshadow and a dark maroon lipstick.

    or a raspberry lipgloss.
Why not go to a store and get a free makeover? You're taking cosmetic advice from strangers who have never seen you?

Go and let the pros give you advice on how and what color makeup to use.

What age should I let my 11 yr. old wear make-up (ie. lip gloss, eye shadow) ?

My husband and I are trying to let her grow up but it sure is hard! I didn't wear make-up till later in life (15) and I am not very good at putting it on so I need to learn how to not let her look like a clown..;)What age should I let my 11 yr. old wear make-up (ie. lip gloss, eye shadow) ?
Let her wear makeup in stages. Every little girl wants to wear makeup and fully prohibiting her from wearing it is just going to cause her to try it on behind your back, at friends' houses, etc. I would start by letting her wear a nice, light lipgloss. You could even make it an ';event'; and take her to the cosmetics counter to choose something nice - it will make her feel grown-up, but it won't be over the top at all. When she turns 13, you might let her wear a little bit of mascara or a light eyeshadow. I would avoid eyeliner until she's much older (say 16 or so) since it tends to ';age'; little girls and is seen by many as inappropriate. A nice, light blush or ';bronzer'; might also be appropriate in the early teens, although generally little girls have very nice skin and this is not needed.

The key here is to help her grow up while setting limits. I really think that going out and getting her a nice lip gloss would be a good first step, and as long as you keep it light it's not going to make her look too old.

Good luck! It sounds like you're doing a great job so far. :)What age should I let my 11 yr. old wear make-up (ie. lip gloss, eye shadow) ?
in my opinion no.. i am 15 and i started wearing make up a year ago. if you let her wear make up then let her until she's 13. and explain to her that makeup doesnt make you beautiful, its the person you are.
    18. In the mean time, why not get her into sports, or playing a musical instrument or something. She;s too young for makeup
I, also, think between 16 and 18 is a good target range for make up, but no reason why she can't get into skin %26amp; hair care now; for example, sun screens, and hair products that banish dullness and dandruff. I think she'd enjoy the ';girlie'; aspects, and she's be learning basic grooming skills.
let her wear lip gloss but only the clear one , as for eye shadows and other make up she should be atleast 14 or 15
    13 or 14
Well coming from a 19 year old male I'd say, let her have fun with it now, as in, in the house, but wait until she's at least in middle school; what's make up used for... accenting the facial features and a 11 year old doesn't need that in my opinion...

But hell... I'm just an old schoolie type I guess... where have the years gone... kids these days..
    12 or 13
I would try to get her to wait till she's 16...well, maybe 15 if she is feeling ';uncool'; as all her friends wear it. You might go to one of the department stores and let them do a makeover on her. They will do that at the Sephora stores sometimes.
I started wearing makep when I was 12.... just make sure it's natural looking- makeup is for accentuating your good features, not hiding them. Just let her wear lip gloss, a little bit of blush, maybe some sheer foundation, brown mascara only on the top lid and concealer if she needs it and she'll be just lovely. Try vistiting http://www.themakeuproom.com/teen.html for more advice.
I suggest you start her off slowly. Lipgloss first, then some light eyeshadow, then some mascara...etc.

Allowing her to wear some makeup will help her feel prettier and more confidant. Remember, many of her classmates will also be wearing makeup. Still, you don't want to let her grow up too fast. I suggest making her wait until she's 14 to wear the heavier stuff like eyeliner and mascara.
Between the ages of 15 and 17 should be sufficient. I have a 9 year old and I am dreading those teenaged years. GOOD LUCK 'cause you're gonna need it.
no she's only 11 at least 13 would be ok
When she's old enough to buy her own cosmetics. OR 18 yrs. old.
Luckily we don't have daughters, just sons, so we don't have to make those decisions but I was allowed to wear light make up at age 13. Full make up at 16. Now that I'm 40 yrs. old, I hardly ever wear make up.
at this day an age i don';t think you can keep her from it for much longer try 12 or 13 but she probably will just buy some cheap stuff with friends and apply it at school. Instead of that option go out with her one day when she's a little older and buy her good makeup and instruct her how to do it properly. It could be a great bonding experience. give each other makeovers and have really time together and once she knows how to do it properly you'll probably end up with less of a problem with it as she grows up.
Shes to young, wait until she is in her teens.
    15 minimum
My husband and I discussed the age that we want our girls to start wearing makeup and our concensus was 13. But our two youngest girls have birthmarks (very light) on their faces and necks and so we decided that if they want to wear makeup at a younger age to cover these marks that would be fine also. Our other decision on this was to take them to a make up counter at one of the department stores like Clinique and get them a makeover that would teach them how to apply makeup so that it looks natural and enhances their features rather than made up and unnatural. You could do this with her. I am like you I didn't know how to apply makeup so that I didn't look like a clown and I went to Clinique (they have a very nice staff to help women and young girls). They help you choose colors and learn application techniques. These sessions are free (in some cases they make up women for special events like weddings) you just schedule it with them, rather than just showing up. The prices are higher than going to supermarket areas, but there is a very nice return policy (if you or your daughter turns up allergic - rare) you can return the unused product for a full refund. Clinique is found in Lazarus and the like. But when a girl starts to go to high school that is when they want to start wearing makeup because the other girls are doing so also.
15...no exceptions...if you let her grow up and develop too fast...the boys (and babies) will soon follow!!!
At fifteen. Teach her that less is more. You can take her to a department store and have a make up sales woman explain to her how to put it on.
12 thats when i started wearing make-up its not that hard either
I started with the clear lip gloss that has a flavor for my daughter.then I started picking up 17 mag they have all sorts of how tos and articles on allsorts of coming of age and teenage stuff.I'd read the stuff then pass it to her and we'd have things to talk about. Also about 12 I got her a light blush and I'd always tell her it looked nice but then after a while I'd say wait come here oh look in the light your cheeks appear to have to much. It all worked for me,shes now 18 and knows the difference between day make up and evening wear. She does pretty good .So basicly let her slowly get into it and you bring it to her tell her look what I found I think this color will look nice on you, then she won't go nuts and look like a hooker!
    16
Well i think u shoud let her wear lip gloss at least. Then when she's 16 let her star wearing make up.
she's way too young to wear makeup, but to learn there are plenty magazines that give you advise on how to apply and also a book called ';The beauty bible'; I find it very helpful it tells u almost everything about your skin, makeup, the latest procedures available and much more. good luck and try not to make her luck too mature for her age u dont want the wrong men looking at her.
let her wear lip gloss. wait until shes twelve or thirteen for eye shadow-- and dont let her get wacko colors. i remember when i was in sixth grade i started wearing eye shadow..and then i remember in 8th grade i thought eye shadow was kind of wierd if you wore like odd colors. so if your gonna buy her eyeshadow, get her like pink or something.
I didnt stat wearing make-up til i was 14. I would say 13 or 14. At 11, i would let her wear clear lip gloss, and very light eye shadow. If you feel she can have more, take her to the mall, and let them show her how to put it on, and what colors look best on her. Growing up is hard to let happen, and trust me she will thank you for not letting her have her pic taken with horrible make-up!
    12 maybe 13
let her put on a little bit of natural make up for parties in middle school, but in high school everyone wears makeup, she will feel more fit in than out in the crowd
lipgloss is ok, but other makeup should wait. 14/15 are good ages to use make up.

Wow, you're really fair and have nice blue eyes.

Gloss: I think i could see you in either a coral or peach coloured gloss. Nothing too red.

Eyes: Try grey/charcoal/black eyeshadows for a more serious look depending on the intensity you want. Apply them between your lash line and crease. Use a volumising mascara in black.

Cheeks: You should use something pinkish. Not barbie bright type of pink, something more muted which makes you look rosy and healthily flushed.

Hope this helps! ;]What is the best makeupfor me?(eye shadow, lip gloss, mascara, and shade of concealor)?
sorry your pics didn't come up but mascara is safe for everyone.

So i have like a fair asian skin colour and i don't know what colour eye shadow and lip gloss i should go for any helpBest colour eye shadow and lip gloss for my skin plz help?
You should use slightly shimmery and pastel eye shadows. Colors like peach and lilac will work well for your eyes. For lip gloss, use only muted shades such as peach, light pink, or beige.Best colour eye shadow and lip gloss for my skin plz help?
Blues for the eyes, and light pinks for the lips. You want to go lighter with the lips because, will, your skin is really light. I'm assuming that since your asian, you have dark eyes, and that will really be brought out by dar blues, greys, and blacks. Hope I helpd!!
Blue eyeshadow, but not crazy blue, maybe light blue and peach colored lipgloss.
there is eye shadow put together for eye colors, lip a light tint gloss of pink or light peach.

Should i take my son to the hospital for lip gloss in the eye?

MY 2 year old son got into my lipgloss and got in in his eye this afternoon and i have washed it out many times and his eye is very red and wateryShould i take my son to the hospital for lip gloss in the eye?
    No.

If the eye is still bad (or worse) in a couple of days, then make an appointment with a regular GP. Lipgloss in the eye is nothing to go to the hospital for. Products are tested for exactly this type of reason. His eye may even be red and irritated because of your washings.Should i take my son to the hospital for lip gloss in the eye?
First start off by flushing continously for 15 minutes with cold water. If the eye still shows signs of irritation then your best bet is to consult the poison control center number usually located on the product, if the number is not there then it will be in your phone book for sure, they will give you further instruction. Good luck and i hope your son feels better = )
he will be fine just rinse it many times, an keep an eye on it. he just probably poped a blood vesil it his eye
    Ya.
did you talk to the pediatrician?

I have this little ittsy bittsy feeling he (or she) is better qualified than someone on Yahoo! Answers....

but to each his own ... Wait it out and your son will cry it out
take him to the ER better safe than sorry

Best liquid foundation, lip gloss, eye shadow, and mascara?

not too expensive please =)Best liquid foundation, lip gloss, eye shadow, and mascara?
Okay these are my favorite products which are on the cheaper side...

    Foundation:

Revlon Custom Creations (about US$13) - there are different shades of foundation in the one bottle, and you can customize the tone of the makeup by turning a nossel from a 1 (lightest) to 5 (darkest), but all shades are still going to be perfect for your skin tone.

i also recommend Prescriptives Virtual Skin (US$33) - i find it great for a light everyday wear, but can also make you look absolutely flawless when going out at night, which some foundations fail to do. In the past i have had different foundations for different circumstances.

    Lip Gloss:

Cover Girl Wetslicks (about US$5)- started using it when i was about 14 and haven't stopped!

    or

Philosophy's ';the supernatural lip gloss'; (US$15)- mmm the fresh minty smell is so nice and they surprisingly last for hours.

    Eyeshadow:

I only wear MAC, NARS, and Stila (about US $14+) eyeshadows so im afraid i dont know of any cheaper ones...but these ones are excellent! Do try them:)

    Mascara:

Maybelline Great Lash (about US $4)- ohhh i cannot praise this stuff enough. i love it! and its cheap! I've had the MAC and Chanel, but this has always been my favorite. Worth looking into!Best liquid foundation, lip gloss, eye shadow, and mascara?
Foundation: anything from Clinique, Shu Ureuma, or Zuzu.

Lip gloss: I personally like lip smackers the best :P

Eyeshadow: Urban decay definitely. They have the nicest texture, they're cruelty free, lots of 'em are vegan, and they have the greatest pigments and colour variety.

Mascara: I use dior show, but I hate the brush that comes with it so I just use a medium fluffyish brush that I dip into it occasionally. It looks much more natural.
Well in my opinion if it's made by mary kay then it is the best. I use mary kay products everyday. Yes I have tried other brands but have found out that mk is the only foundation that doesn't feel like i'm rubbing dirt on my face. I love the way you can never really tell i have on mascara and the variety of colors they have in the lip glosses and eye shadows.
Foundation: Zuzu Luxe oil free liquid foundation

Lip Gloss: The Body Shop Hi-shine lip treatment

    Eyeshadow: Boots Organics Eye Shadow

    Mascara: ZuZu Luxe ';The Mascara';

  • What the hell is eye gloss?

eyeshadow stuff thats the same texture as lip gloss. What the hell is eye gloss?
Eye gloss is a gloss designed for the eyes. You put it on like an eyeshadow. It creates a really lovely look and texture but the down-side is, that it can be quite sticky and strange to wear.

You can use it like a high-light on the brow-bone alternatively.

I'm not sure there are that many around at the moment, it had a fashion moment a year or two ago and you could get them from Calvin Klein through to Rimmel and Tesco's Make-Up range by Barbara Daly. What the hell is eye gloss?
ohh the worst stuff! up there with cream blush.

i tried some bye rimmel, its sticky and goopy. and a pain to apply. i do not recommend it at all.
stuff that makes your eyes all sticky and gross i HATE them it is LIKE lip gloss but it goes on your eyes it is really sticky and blehh i hate it
Lip Gloss for your eyes. I hate it! my eye got so sticky, the stuff is so cheap... It didnt come off entireley for 2 FREAKIN DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!
    lip gloss for ur eyes

    my opinion: A MAJOR NO-NO

its well sticky n too shiny

n a mission to get off
Just more makeup for women who like to have a natural sweaty look.
um the same stuff like lip gloss, but its for your eyes.
bad eye makeup, dont bother spending money on it.
    not for your lips!

    haaaaaa

    but really, its sticky eyeshadow
    Have no idea....
    makes your eyes shiny

What is the expiry date of eye shadows & lip-sticks/lip-gloss?

    eyeshadows-two years

    Mascara-several months

    lipstick-1-2 years

lip gloss- about 1 year but it depends on how sticky it gets and if you can deal with itWhat is the expiry date of eye shadows %26amp; lip-sticks/lip-gloss?
Most last about 1 year, tops. What is the expiry date of eye shadows %26amp; lip-sticks/lip-gloss?
Two or more years usually. Honestly, I just keep my stuff until I notice any changes in the product. If the smell, color, or texture changes then it's time to throw it out. If none of that has changed, it should be fine.
im not sure if there is one, i've had a lipgloss since i was nine and i'm thirteen now, and its fine :O
Once you open cosmetics bacteria and all the fun stuff on your hands and face are sitting around in the products.

I give shadows and lip sticks and glosses 3-6 months.

Don't share your makeup and don't let it hang out in the bottom of your handbag.
Most cosmetics are now putting labels on that specify the number of months that you can keep a product after you have opened it. The products you mentioned are all 24 months...if you are curious mascara is only 6 months
i guess it depends when you buy it but mascara can get very clumpy

How do i get my lip gloss, mascara, and eye shadow to last longer? After a few hours, it fades away.?

It depends on the quality. I use Avon makeup and it stays on all day! I love Avon!

Sometimes late in the day, like early evening, I like to freshen up my eyes a little. How do i get my lip gloss, mascara, and eye shadow to last longer? After a few hours, it fades away.?
Keep on puting it on every 30 minutes but if your going some Where take with you in your purse or something...How do i get my lip gloss, mascara, and eye shadow to last longer? After a few hours, it fades away.?
waterproof makeup or you can start buying department store makeup
Start by applying a sheer layer of Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 over the lips followed by a dusting of loose or pressed powder. Next, choose a lip-colored liner that will match with your lip hue because it will give the gloss something to stick to. Finally, coat your lips twice with a lip gloss.

Mineral powder works well on the eyes too.
Use a waterproof mascara, and long-lasting gloss. Also, try this sealant product, that can go over eyes, lips, and brows.
It may be the quality of the makeup, it may not. If you use a base or primer your makeup will last all day. A good base for eyeshadow would be Urban Decay Primer Potion or MAC Shadesticks. They work wonders. If you are looking for something a little cheaper, you could use a regular chapstick or white eyeliner. What you want to do it put just a little on and blend it into your skin on your eyelids and then put the eyeshadow on top. The white eyeliner is great because not only does it help stick all day but also makes the colors pop. For mascara, get a waterproof mascara. For lips, try putting a tiny bit of face concealer on underneath the lip gloss. Hope this helps.
They all do eventually, dear. You can choose well-made products however, nothing too cheap because it has more pigment. But most of the time you have to reapply (touch up) during the day at least once.
Before you put it on, brush some face powder over your face. Then re-apply after you put the gloss, mascara %26amp; shadow on
If you put cream on your eyelids before you apply eyeshadow, it helps to keep it in place. As for mascara and lip gloss, I'm really not sure. Good luck!
for your eyeshadow rub some lip gloss on ur lid.%26amp; mascara buy the covergirl kind %26amp; as for lip gloss Mac lipgloss is the best %26amp;%26amp; lasts longer than most.
    Don't buy the cheap stuff.
    buy good makeup.

mac, covergirl, maybeline, etc. not cheap.

if you want eyeliner to last long, put pressed powder underneath your eyes. it absorbs the oils and keeps your eyeliner in the same place all day.
Use Mac i swear that stuff lasts forever and its ah-dorable!!!

[A lil pricey but hey if u look great it's worth it right???]
youve got to buy better quality makeup. Lancome is at most department store malls.

if you can afford it, MAC cosmetics is a great place to buy...

Would eye glitter, lip gloss, and eyeliner be good make up for teenager to wear if they don't want to wear?

make-up that makes them look too old?Would eye glitter, lip gloss, and eyeliner be good make up for teenager to wear if they don't want to wear?
thats wat i wear to school alot and im in middle school so it doesnt make me look that old just make sure she doesnt wear too much of the eyeliner bc it will make you look older so just a little on the lower eye lid....hope this helpsWould eye glitter, lip gloss, and eyeliner be good make up for teenager to wear if they don't want to wear?
eye glitter is ok but sum ppl put 2 much on and it looks bad iwouldnt wear it but when i was like 13 it was the coolest thing..lollip gloss is great if its clear or natural u know.if u want to wear makeup but u dun want it 2 look like u r wearing any wear foundation.a nutural eye shawdow, balck eyeline but not heavy eyeliner and sum mascars..mascars does wonders!!!
Yes. Lip gloss really goes for any age, eye glitter is something that is age appropriate for teens, and eye liner is good when applied correctly.
Yeah!! Last summer all I wore for make-up was glitter on the eyes ( Barbie glitter is really cheap.) eyeliner, and sometimes lipgloss!
they are good but maybe it would look better without the glitter.
loose the glitter and add some mascara

Is eye shadow safe to use on your lips when making home made lip gloss?

I wanna make home made lip gloss, and when I was surfing the net, it said to use eye shadow. I was just wondering if it is safe on the lips.

    If it is, then ok.

But if is not safe, then can anyone tell me how to make one?Is eye shadow safe to use on your lips when making home made lip gloss?
    Yes,it's perfectly safe.

But,you could use a loose shimmer powder or some loose glitter instead if you like.Is eye shadow safe to use on your lips when making home made lip gloss?
I do it all the time. I just take a little bit of eyeshadow (pigment, or if you only have the type in the little pans, just take a brush and rub it for a little bit to get some of it to break up) and mix it with vaseline. I haven't tried putting it in a container or anything, so I don't know how well it keeps, but I've made some really pretty glosses that way.

Oh and about the one person that said it won't taste very good, you don't taste anything. But it will dry your lips up if you try using a brush to put the eyeshadow on before putting vaseline/balm over it.
Yeah lol it's perfectly fine sweetie :) but I would use Pigments instead of eyeshadows, because it's a lot less messy than having to crush your shadows and mixing them.
lets break it down... if it's safe enough to get into your eyeball then it's safe enough to use on your lips. It wouldn't taste good but it's safe.
im pretty sure it is safe... if it can be in your eye area, surely it could also be on your lips
Sure it's safe. I even put foundation on my lips before

the gloss when I want a paler chic look.

    Have fun!
home made lip gloss is s.hit. its safe but it works like shi.t
Yeah it's fine, it won't taste great though.
    Yess it is

    Check out Michelle Phan

she has a video on how to make it(:
im sure its ok but i would think it would make your lips dry
    its safe.
yea, but im a boy so how would i know!

What color lip gloss should I use with royal blue eye shadow?

I have dark brown eyes and medium or olive skin. I'm wearing a dramatic royal blue eyeshadow with some silver (smokey).

Should I use a soft pink and a soft pink blush

or should I use nude lips and soft pink blush

or nude lips and shear or peach blush

    I'm open for more suggestions.

Thanks! What color lip gloss should I use with royal blue eye shadow?
I'd go with nude lips and sheer/peach blush (or a bronzer could work too). Sounds really pretty though! Good luck! What color lip gloss should I use with royal blue eye shadow?
Very light, if your eyes are dramatic the rest of your makeup should be subtle. I would say go for the soft pink blush and nude lips, but soft pink lips could work too.
use nude lips and peach blush

if you're using a royal blue eyeshadow, the focus should mainly be on your eyes, not other parts of your face, otherwise it will look over-done
if your eyes are loaded with bright makeup don't use anything on it lips it makes u look tacky especially with ur skin tone
    Little or none.

If your eyeshadow is dramatic, your lips should be subtle.
Nude lip and peach blush would be best for you in this particular case. :)
Nude lips, peach blush. Go subtle with dramatic eyes:D
peach blush and clear lip gloss

Mainly wax, talc, sometimes nylon fibres for the mascara.
    oils, water and wax
Boiled down cow hoofs, chicken guts, clay, chalk, beef blood and all sorts of leftovers.
Don't worry about it. We will all die anyway. Some will look good along the way.

What do you think of a 12 year old 6th grader wearing eye shadow (applied lightly) and lip gloss?

What about the same child also wearing a little mascara? What do you think of a 12 year old 6th grader wearing eye shadow (applied lightly) and lip gloss?
Not if its made in chinaWhat do you think of a 12 year old 6th grader wearing eye shadow (applied lightly) and lip gloss?
I think my Mom's rule was that I could wear make up like that (light and no mascara or eye liner) when I turned 14. I'm pretty sure that she bent the rules and let me at 13. I think 12 might be a little too young for daily make up, but once in a while for fun I think it's fine.

I have an 8 year old girl, and every now and then she asks me to put make up on her. I take my lightest-barely can see pink eyeshadow and pink lip gloss and let her wear it.
if it's really light then I wouldn't have a problem with it. My parents got me powder and mascara when I turned 12 or 13 but it was like the exact same color of my skin and eye lashes naturally so I felt cool and like I got some privileges and they were probably laughing cause they got a fast one over on me. I don't see anything wrong with it.
Personally, I think too much makeup makes an adolescent look a little silly, kind of like the 5 year old dressing up in her mother's high heels. But then, my opinion wouldn't matter one bit to a 12 year old. And I do remember sneaking makeup to school in my purse when I was about that age. I'd say as long as it's somewhat natural looking and not too heavily applied, it's OK. But I think 12 year olds are beautiful as they are.
Personally, I see nothing wrong with this. My girls are used to the make up scene because of dance recitals and cheer competitions. It's nothing new here. My ten year old wears lip gloss and light brown mascera. Not every day, but sometimes she will. She'll be 11 soon.

All of her friends wear makeup sometimes, too. Not overboard, you can barely see it unless you are looking for it.

I hate powder and foundation, though, on kids because they already have flawless skin. Not a big fan of blush either. Eye makeup and lipgloss is fine, to me.
    I think it is fine.

Especially if you apply a light purple or blue or pink would be very pretty and maybe just a tad of lip gloss just lightly pink!

mascara would be fine as long as you apply little and make sure you get all the clumps out of your eyelashes
if you have to question it, then the answer is NO! i definitely wouldn't allow my 12 year old girl to wear makeup. she would have to wait until she's like 15 or 16, at the age when she can purchase it herself. 12 is too young, next it's going to be dating, then buying birth control....you get the point! 12 is way too young....let her enjoy her youth and innocence, that's what that age is about...
I don't think eyeshadow is really a good day-look for anyone. Maybe for a dance or a party, but not for daily use. Lipgloss is pretty harmless. Mascara is probably not a big deal if it looks pretty natural.
I dont think anythings wrong with light eye shadow and lipgloss. I was in 6th or 7th grade when I started wearing it. The other girls in my class were wearing mascara and eyeliner then! (that i wouldnt think is okay)
I wore make up in 6th grade, of course not a lot of it. I don't think it has effected me negatively. Now I am 22, a senior in college and I am a master at applying it :)
    Absolutely fine.

Now, if she looks like Mimi from the drew carey show then its not ok.

Light eyeshadow, light mascara(yes, mascara can be applied lightly) and lip gloss is fine.
I guess it would be okay if she knows how to keep it fresh. Like, for example, learning to refresh her lip gloss after each cigarette.
    12 is lip gloss only

13 is lip gloss and light blush or powder

14 is okay where what you want but remember less is more.
let her be creative just tell your daughter that she is beutiful witout make up, she will obviously not obey and wear it anyway but make sure she put on light
I think it's unnecessary and would look bad.

    Harriet
    That's okay.
    No, 12 is too young.

What color eye shadow goes with plum lip gloss?

Hello! I have some Cover Girl ';Iced Berry'; Wet slicks lip gloss and would like to know what eye shadow to wear with it. I am light/medium complected. Thanks! What color eye shadow goes with plum lip gloss?
Any cold color will suit the best for Iced Berry plum lip gloss =) good luck =DWhat color eye shadow goes with plum lip gloss?
I would say a creamy color defendant matte but always remember that if you go heavy color on the lips go light on the eyes, if you go heavy on the eyes go light on the lips! Othterwise you will look to overdone i will also suggust NOT to wear shimmery shiny eyeshadow during the day wear that at night creamy shadows are realy gentle, sweet, natural and beautiful!

    :)
ok if you are more conservative, try a brown maroon color or a shimmery brown.

but, if you are more daaring, a HOT trend for fall is aqua lined eyes with fushia/plum gloss. simply line the top of your eyes with a teal colored shadow or liner. for an even bolder idea, line your bottom lids too, and wing out the color diagonally twards your brow.
cooler color shadows go well with a cooled lip...so purples, blues, greens, cool browns...

I would want to use a light to medium green shade, but nothing so dark as to make it overpower the color of the lipshade.

Also,a light to medium blue or purple should also be fine.
I'd actaully say light purple (almost silvery) or a light silvery green.

Only on the lid of your eyes though ;]
Light browns with lavender or baby blue.
Light browns with lavender or baby blue.
    A cream coloured.
I'd say a gray or silver smoky eye.

How to reduce eye strain on high gloss lcd screen?

What kind of windows theme will help reduce eye strain on glossy monitor? Can any settings specific to windows vista or XP help? How to reduce eye strain on high gloss lcd screen?
I find that lowering the contrast of the display to be the most helpful when dealing with glossy monitors. If that fails to help you can try to reduce the amount of room light or light that might reflect off of the surface of the screen. There are no Windows settings that can help with this. You might also consider replacing you monitor with a new monitor with a matte screen. These types are less glary but overall less brilliant. How to reduce eye strain on high gloss lcd screen?
wearing a polarized sunglasses may not be a bad idea. As a matter of fact, you can use the sunglasses outside too.
Windows Vista has the theme and the graphics to relax the eyes unlike XP's blue illlumination which kinda hurts the eyes a bit when exposed for too long.

With Vista's theme, the 3D effects will act as a game to relax the eys. No wonder they call it ';eye candy.'; Plus you have a variey of settings to dim or brighten the screen but it depends on you. As long Vista has the themes to relax the eyes.
Change the setting from aro to clasic.

  • What color eye liner, eye shadow, lip gloss, and blush should I use?

I'm tan and have brown hair and brown eyes. My hair and eyes are pretty much the same color, they're not dark but their not light...they're in between. What color eye liner, eye shadow, lip gloss, and blush should I use?
Try and purple eye-plan eyeliner with and black mascara, really light pink, or clear lip gloss. As for blush try mabeleene sun-kissed.What color eye liner, eye shadow, lip gloss, and blush should I use?
DO NOT WEAR BROWN MASCARA IF YOU HAVE BROWN EYES BECAUSE IT MAKES U LOOK TIRED AND IT LOOKS GROSS THATS WHAT A MAKE UP ARTIST TOLD ME, WEAR BLACK MASCARA AND FOR EYESHADOW BRIGHT COLOUS AND LIP GLOSS DOESNT MATTER WHAT COLOUR BUT PINK SHADES LOOK HOT
    Eye Shadow:

You'll look best in medium green, medium purple, plum, medium blue, medium gray or blue-gray shades of eye shadow. Choose one shade only to use at a time and apply it all over eyes, from lash-line to brows.Use black eyeliner.

    Mascara:

Apply one coat of brown or brown/black mascara.

    Lip Color:

You shine in sheer lip glosses in shades of light brown, bronze or raisin red.

    Special Occasions:

You'll stand out in a metallic silver or blue-gray eye shadow on lids. Rim the inside of your lower lids with white eyeliner, and apply a coat or two of brown/black mascara to top lashes. Keep lips shiny and pretty in a sheer bronze or brownish-red gloss.
Brown or black eyeliner and black mascara. And green eyeshadow makes brown eyes pop. Lip gloss doens't really matter, something from covergirl.

I am a crossdresser. And tomorrow night I am going to a party dressed as a french maid. What color of lip gloss and eye shadow would look good with my black maids dress? What is good color of eye shadow and lip gloss to wear with a black dress?
A shimmering white or off white eyeshadow would be a great addition on your eyes. The sparkle is nice for the holidays

and the white matches part of the outfit. As for the lips I would

do a red or pink gloss. What is good color of eye shadow and lip gloss to wear with a black dress?
    black
Nice dark smokey eyes and bright red lipstick......even a little mole drawn on under your lip...nice.
go with a sheer red lip gloss and a light blue eyeshadow
    purple
Gray eye shadow and a RED lip stick ;)
red lipstick and white eye shadow
I think with a dress like that, a light lavender eyeshadow with some shimmer in it would be perfect. That would look gorgueous. With the lipgloss I would stick either with a clear shade, or a suble pink shade. That would be my best advice for you.
Smokey black cat eye on top and bottom lashes and add fake lashes for pizzazz effect (go to smashbox.com to see the model on the homepage to get the idea I'm going for). Since you're eyes are already dramatic, you can't go wrong with a glossy nude shade or if you want to be extremely dramatic then go for a luscious glossy red!
anything! i would add color to my eyes since the dress is black, maybe a blue or jade color? as for the lips, be fun, maybe a shade of red?
WHat color are your eyes, i would do a light red/mauve eye shadow with a tiny hint of tan it looks really good. and a glossy pink lip gloss. have fun, and WORK IT GIRLLLLL!!!!!!!!!
Either Catlike eyeliner and red lipstick, or smokey eyes %26amp; nude lipstick.
bright red will make it stand out a lot.
Try lip gloss that will stay with you and not fade as fast and shimmer eye shadow i would go for whatever color your eyes are and play it up from lites to dark!! Have a Blast!! good luck!!

What are some good eye shadow and lipstick/ gloss brands that are good and not very expensive?

I love mac cosmetics, especially their eye shadows, but I'm a college student and I really need to invest wisely. So I was wondering what are some good cosmetics that have as much color and variety as mac does and aren't quite so costly. What are some good eye shadow and lipstick/ gloss brands that are good and not very expensive?
hey I know that the ones that just stand alone from MAC Cosmetics run around 15.00 dollars a piece. I know Mary Kay runs about 6.50 a shade depending and they have this new thing called the compact pro which includes most of your cosmetics needs. you can check it out on my website as well as anything else. I hope I helped some.

I know many people associate Mary kay with the older generation but I guess I'm what you consider an artsy person. I lover photography and any type of art you through my way especially when it comes to makeup so I have to have fun with it.. and you can still do that with mary kay...so no worries there. What are some good eye shadow and lipstick/ gloss brands that are good and not very expensive?
A very good eyeshadow brand I know is NYX - their shadows last a long time, color looks great, and they have as much color selection as most department store brands. [$3-4 for single shadows, $3 for cream eyeshadow pencil, and $6 for a trio]

For lipstick, I like Maybelline's MoistureExtreme Lipstick - It actually is moisturizing and smells like watermelon [not a strong smell either, more like a light, delicate scent]. ($6-7 depending on where you get it)

As for lip gloss, I love LOVE Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush lip glosses, they're very sheer, super shiny, and lasts the whole day. The only downside is that they are a bit sticky than I like lip gloss to be. If that doesn't cut it, CoverGirl Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers is great too, but it's more watery and does not last as long.
Revlon, Cover Girl, and L'Oreal are really good staples. Also, if you're looking for other less expensive cosmetics, check out Drugstore Diva--you can get the brand name looks on the cheap.

What kind of lip gloss, eye shadows, liners, blush should i use if i have brown hair and kinda darkish blue ey?

What colors and brands and also what clothes will bring out my eyesWhat kind of lip gloss, eye shadows, liners, blush should i use if i have brown hair and kinda darkish blue ey?
For a blue eye, it is good to get a dark brown eyeliner. It really compliments the eye and makes the color pop. For shadow, a dark brown is good for the beginning of the lid, and as you go up, contrast into a lighter tan color. This gives a smokey look that is specifically good for the winter time. For lips, a very light red makes any highlights in the hair stick out. Using a lipGLOSS intead of lipstick makes lips looks shiny and nice. Lipstick makes them look and feel chapped. For blush, a light color is acceptable. Make sure that you don't use a dark red...it makes you look overdone and played up. Gray clothing also plays the color of your eyes and makes them really pop. The best choice is a neutral color like a light pink. i hope i helped you!

I just want a shiny eye lid look... I remember seeing Cameron Diaz on Jay Leno with really shiny eye shadow and looks soo hot!Anyone know of a good eye gloss (if it exists) or just a real shiny eye shadow?
Revlon has a gloss eyeshadow that works well. Most likely you would want a white, cream or gold color.Anyone know of a good eye gloss (if it exists) or just a real shiny eye shadow?
MAC eye shadows are really great but really expensive, they support the AIDS foundation too so while you're spending your money you are also making a donation; for a cheeper alternative check out Liquid Metal Eyes...

Theres also rimmel metallic stars roller eyeshadow that has mixed reviews ( I like it) Make sure you're using a good colour for your own eye colour; it will make a difference.. also the application process can make the glimmer more or less.
I never have good luck with the glossy eye shadows. They always clump up in the creases of my eye. I rub a little bit of cover up on my eyelid to make the shadow stick and just use metallic or shimmery shades.
Try MAC's paints, base light. It looks great by itself or try with eye shadow over it and you can get some awesome looks!!!!

Also try their liquid eye liners. (waterproof) They are shimmery, bright and will really make your eyes POP!

What is an eye gloss pen and how do you use it?

I got a vanilla shimmer Color Twist eye gloss pen by Avon at a sale of a rep going out of business, thinking it was lip gloss. It comes in a plastic ';pen'; which you twist the bottom of to release cream colored liquid through a felt tip. How do I use it?

Maybe you mean Eye Glimmer..its kinda shiny, and sometimes wet!
    vaseline
I was reading Seventeen magazine once and here is a cheap but glamorous way to get that same look. Take some shear sparkly lip gloss and stroke the lipgloss maybe once or twice on your eyes, and whala! You can use different colors, just not fancy permanent type stuff and you'll want a really wet kindof lip gloss. I got a million compliments on it when I did it! It was like some sort of thing a celebrity did. =D

Where can I buy waterproof tape for a Polynesian Pool (low hung beaded liner)?

When I bought my home, I became the owner of a ';Polynesian'; brand pool. I am now replacing the liner (low hung, beaded) and am having an impossible time finding the white waterproof tape that I need to install over the beaded track to prevent water leakage.

If anyone has any idea where I might find this tape I would be SO appreciative!!!

The place that originally installed the pool wants over $200 for a roll of the tape. Other local pool stores agree that the price is ridiculous but they also don't know where to get it for less. Web searches have turned up nothing.

An eye liner that won't smudge and is waterproof??

I have eyeliner that smudges soo much it's not even funny. And the label said waterproff, so when I went to my Crush's pool party I wore it. When I got out of the pool I went over to my crush, and he said...wow!! You have black streaks running down your face!! ???Suggestions for great eyeliner??An eye liner that won't smudge and is waterproof??
use mary kay singniture eyeliner. it is amazing. you just have to wash it off really good.An eye liner that won't smudge and is waterproof??
MAC smudge proof always works for me. I get the pencil not the liquid.
MAC Powerpoint is good. StyliStyle has one that they say is semi-permanent, but I haven't tried it. I saw it at CVS, you might check that one out.
get a eyeliner from a M.A.C boutique at burdines mac is the best
Most gel eye liners don't smudge too much. Try out the ones by Yardley, I have a pool at home and when I come out I don't look like someone out of a Scary Movie!!!

Oh, and by the way, gooood luck with your crush!!! ;-)

    Hope it helps(somehow!!!)
    Maybeline Color Stay ... amazing.

    I need a waterproof felt-tip liquid liner?

I currently use Revlon's felt-tip liner which I LOVE but it's not waterproof.

I need a waterproof liquid liner that comes like a pen, so I can just draw it on.

    any help?

I am willing to spend 15 dollars but it MUST be a felt-tip pen type liner.

I don't like the kind where it has a skinny little brush

thanks in advance = )I need a waterproof felt-tip liquid liner?
Physician's Formula makes a great felt-tip marker. It stays well in water. Most eyeliners are waterproof, even if the package doesn't say it.

Bare Minerals' liner shadows are all waterproof. Just wet an angled eyeliner brush and apply! I loooove them.I need a waterproof felt-tip liquid liner?
Smashbox makes a waterproof eyeliner in a pot and you have to buy the brush too--a bit pricey but it will last forever!! Also, I wear eyeliner on the insides of my eyelids sometimes (bottom and top to make lashline look thicker) and this stuff stays on ALL day! Worth the investment
    L'oreal has a nice one

MAC is pretty good too but you can get a drugstore one that does the same thing

Wet and wild has good ones

    NYX cosmetics has one too

  • Need ideas on how to make waterproof covers(liners) for dog beds to protect inner stuffing when peed on.?

I work at a dog rescue. We purchased dog beds for all of the dogs at our rescue. The problem we are having is we are constantly having to buy new beds because occassionaly a dog will pee on the bed and the inner stuffing then gets soaked with the urine. It is very difficult to then get the urine smell and stain out of the bed stuffing(some are cotton inside and some are cedar)The beds have covers with zippers on them to easily take off and wash but the urine seeps through the cover to the inside. We were thinking of making waterproof covers or liners that would stay on the cushion and then we could just take off and wash the outter covers they came with when needed with no worries about the inner ';pillow';getting wet.Any ideas of what material to use and how to do this would be greatly appreciated. We are spending a fortune on dog beds. ThanksNeed ideas on how to make waterproof covers(liners) for dog beds to protect inner stuffing when peed on.?
Depending on the size of the beds you can but liners at walmart, if it is a smaller bed you can buy a pillow liner they zip and for the larger beds get the Human bed liner put it in your pet bed and zip the cover around it. They come in twin, full queen and king.Need ideas on how to make waterproof covers(liners) for dog beds to protect inner stuffing when peed on.?
You can make liners, but plastic isn't very comfortable to lie on, even if it does have a fabric covering.

What I do for dog beds is to ditch the guts if they aren't washable, and buy cheapo human bed pillows--the two for five bucks at Big Lots or D and K or other outlets are ideal. Stick as many of them inside the bed cover as it takes--my roommate's big dog bed takes four. Even if the bed cover is round, pillows will squash to accomodate. Then if the dog pees on the bed, remover the pillows and wash them and the cover with some fabric softner in the rinse. You can Clorox the pillows if you wash them separately from the cover. This works out just great.
I use all sorts of plastic, from shower (curtains) liners to thick plastic liners used in enclosing your windows during the winter. At times I would find the right measurements, already with zippers, among the bedding section at stores like Wal-Mart, for waterproofing your mattresses, or pillows, to help with allergy problems.

Just make sure it's very well enclosed so the dogs don't eat any off of it.
    Vinyl tablecloths with backing.

They're cheap and are thick enough to sew.Cost effective as more several covers can be made with each one.And making a pillowcase for each bed is easy and quick.
Try using a heavy duty garbage bag. They're economical, versatile and should work well. Depending on the bed size, remove the zip off liner (make sure to put plastic bag underneath that to prevent the animal getting to the plastic) Wrap the bag around the inner pillow and, if necessary, twist the bag on the open end and put it back over the already covered inner pillow. That would provide double thick protection. Then take the zip cover and replace it over the plastic covered inner pillow and zip it close and the continue to reassemble the bed. This should more than guarantee that the very inner pillow will not get pee on it. Every so often, replace the bag for freshness and durability. And remember, since trash bags come in various sizes and various thickness, you can decide which one would be best for which beds. You may have to try out a couple to find the right one. Good Luck.
Try some type of vinyl you can probably get at wal-mart in the craft department. It's similar to those red and white picnic table cloths.

Wal-Mart is usually really great on donations n things. So be sure to ask them!
either rubber backing or the material that is used to cover cot /small child mattress they kept my kids bed dry if they cant wet though them no dog is going to lol good luck
You could use those wee-wee pads they have under the outside cover, and over the inside. They are relatively inexpensive, have a plastic liner to protect the inside of the pillow. You could replace the original pillow with a regular bed pillow, but that could run into a bit of money. Of course you can wash regular pillows with Nature's Miracle that would get the scent out. Or you could get some mattress pads like they use for baby cribs, cut and sew to fit the original pillow. The you can take them off and clean them/wash them with the Nature's Miracle. Plastic bags are noisy and non absorbent so where would the urine go?? I believe vinyl would do the same thing, unless it has a felt backing and you could put that on the outside, vinyl on the inside to protect the rest of the pillow.

Bless you for working in a shelter and taking the time to write and ask. And taking the care to purchase comfortable beds for your rescue dogs. All rescue animals deserve to be well treated and cared for.
either go to a dog bed where the inner liner can be washed. or you can line the inside of the bed with some sort of plastic. but my worry with that would be that a dog would chew the bed and then eat the plastic inside as well. used comforters are also a good washable alternative to a dog bed if urine is a concern. the comforters can be bleached and cleaned since the dog won't care what it looks like. many people are willing to donate used comforters to such a cause. good luck. sorry i don't have a better answer for you.
