Is there a trick to applying lash line liner?

UUHHHHGGG! I really love the way liner looks on the eye lid, but everytime I try to do it , it just is a mess! Its all jagged, and when I try to wing it out a little it just looks sloppy! Any tips??? I have been using loreal black liquid liner.Is there a trick to applying lash line liner?
hey girl there is no tricks, i think it just needs practice, and with time it will get better and better. Before you do your eyeliner make sure you will have about 15-20 min. free to mess around with your eyeliner. If you just cant get it, do it and fix it with Q-tips. I did that until i got it on perfect.Is there a trick to applying lash line liner?
It takes a lottt of practice!!


try a non-liquid eyeliner first, then when you get it, make the tip flat and not pointy, then you have more like surface area.

okay what i do is, i put on the liquid liner, being careful but not too careful, like the line isnt perfect. then i take a wet q-tip %26amp; run it above the line, so it erases the uneven parts or jagged parts. then just wait for it to dry %26amp; it wont smudge (:
when i 1st started using liner i was just like u...then i realised i don't wanna make a perfect line but i wanna the liner to make my eye perfect.....so try to follow ur eyelashes line and go from point to point ...don't try a perfect line put some point at 4-5 mm and then go with the liner on those points it will make it esy to use
Rest your elbow on a hard flat surface, and then rest your chin on your palm.


Close one eye (DONT pull up on the lid!) and start in the middle of the lash, right on the lashline. Do small short strokes, and going towards the outer corner of your eye.


Then, if you want, you can smudge it with a Q-tip.
Liquid is probably best left to expert liners. First practice with something that goes on easily (%26amp; washes off easily) like a kohl liner. The trick to making a smooth fluid line is pulling your eye sideways when you put it on so that your eyelid is taunt. Once you master that you can graduate to a harder liner, like a waterproof liner (that way you don't end up looking like a racoon). Practice is all you can really do... oh %26amp; I also suggest using a magifying lighted make-up mirror, that way you can see exactly what you're doing.
